God bless the noble soul, this week I read Swamy and his friends for the 3rd time, after almost 7 years and boy! it still has that charm, that innocence and the confusion of a 10-yr old boy!
Although Merchant Margayya is the best of the lot, Swamy still scores, thanks to the simple narration of Malgudi, for those interested ones, Malgudi derives its name from Malleswaram & Basavana Gudi, 2 of the oldest places from Namma Bengaluru. The innocence depicted in Swamy's character is simply amazing. I hope I do get some time to read those fictions again n again!
